Product detailed description

Grand Majestic Calacatta – Striking Marble Veining for Modern Interiors

Grand Majestic Calacatta (VZ-NEW-12) is a large-format PVC wall panel with a white base and striking wide grey veins. The dynamic pattern creates a dominant marble effect and is particularly suitable for walls designed to become a distinctive feature of the interior.

The glossy surface enhances the contrast of the design and reflects light. The large 122 × 280 cm format also allows extensive wall areas to be covered with minimal joints.

The panel is suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, TV walls and modern commercial interiors.

Technical Properties

Grand Majestic Calacatta belongs to a series of PVC panels with a UV-treated surface. For this product series, the manufacturer states a B1 fire classification.

Laboratory testing of this series also includes tests of mechanical properties, hardness, water absorption and thermal behaviour of the material.

The Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) reached 75.2 °C under laboratory testing.

⚠️ The panel must not be exposed to direct flame. When installed behind a gas hob, we recommend using suitable protective glass between the cooking area and the panel.

Suitable for Bathrooms and Kitchens

The PVC panel itself is waterproof. When used in wet areas, joints, edges and penetrations must be properly sealed during installation.

In the kitchen, the panel can be used as a decorative wall covering or kitchen backsplash. With an electric or induction hob, a suitable distance from the heat source must be maintained. For gas hobs, we recommend using protective glass.

Installation and Finishing

The panel is installed by gluing it onto a solid, stable and properly prepared substrate. Thanks to its large format, it creates a clean wall surface with minimal joints.

Suitable aluminium profiles can be used for a clean finish around edges, joints and corners.

Grand Majestic Calacatta or a More Subtle Marble Design?

Grand Majestic Calacatta is particularly suitable if you want the marble pattern to become a strong visual feature of the wall. Its wide grey veins create a considerably more dominant effect than subtle marble designs.

If you are unsure how the design will look in your interior, we recommend comparing the different patterns first.
