Glued down vinyl
Glued down vinyl is installed on the surface with a special glue. Before its installation it is important to accommodate the surface to humidity and environment temperature. The same applies after the installation process when you have to let a new floor in a room work at least for 24 hours.
Make sure the surface is sufficiently clean and flat. Then, install vinyl parts in a direction of light using a special glue for the vinyl floor. Apply the glue to the surface with a spatel recommended by your seller.
Vinyl with the click system
A click version of vinyl ranks among the favourite types of floor. An advantage of vinyl applying the click system is a simple installation. There is no need to use any glue for floor installation - vinyl parts fit directly. It is possible to choose from the click system with a V- groove or vinyl without V - groove. A V - groove is a small gap that appears after individual parts click in.
Before the installation of click vinyl it is necessary to accommodate the surface. It needs to be flat and clean firstly. Then you apply the floor itself. It is also recommended to install the parts in a direction of light.
Vinyl with the integrated underlayer
Vinyl with the integrated underlayer or composite vinyl is often a preferred choice. The advantages of this type of vinyl include a speed of installation and an attractive price. Compared to the classical click system, composite vinyl includes the integrated underlayer on the back side. You do not have to purchase and install the one separately.
