Paracol WB High Tack – Mounting Adhesive for Skirting Boards and Decorative Elements

Paracol WB High Tack by DL Chemicals is a professional mounting adhesive based on acrylic dispersion, with high initial tack of at least 300 kg/m². It is designed for installing skirting boards, decorative profiles and other construction elements onto suitable substrates.

The adhesive is water-based, free from solvents and silicones, and primarily suitable for installation work in dry indoor environments.

Important Requirement – At Least One Surface Must Be Absorbent

Paracol WB High Tack is a water-based adhesive that requires suitable conditions for water evaporation during curing.

At least one of the bonded surfaces must be absorbent.

A suitable substrate may include properly prepared plaster, masonry or another compatible absorbent construction surface.

When bonding two non-absorbent materials, curing may be restricted. We do not recommend this application without confirming suitability.

Is Paracol WB High Tack Suitable for Bathrooms?

We primarily recommend Paracol WB High Tack for dry indoor spaces such as living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and offices.

We do not recommend it for areas directly exposed to water, such as shower enclosures, or for permanently damp substrates.

How to Apply Paracol WB High Tack

1. The substrate must be stable, clean, dry and free from dust, grease and loose material.

2. Make sure at least one of the bonded surfaces is absorbent.

3. Apply the adhesive using a cartridge gun according to the manufacturer's technical data sheet.

4. Press the component firmly against the substrate and position it correctly.

5. Provide temporary support if necessary until sufficient bond strength has developed.

6. Allow the adhesive to cure sufficiently before applying loads, taking the application conditions into account.

The initial tack value of 300 kg/m² is a manufacturer-declared technical characteristic and does not automatically represent the permissible load capacity of a particular installation.
