Parabond 600 High Tack – Universal Mounting Adhesive

Parabond 600 by DL Chemicals is a professional universal hybrid polymer mounting adhesive with high initial tack. It is designed for strong, flexible bonding of various construction and decorative components in interior and exterior applications.

With an initial tack of at least 250 kg/m², it can help reduce the need for temporary support in suitable applications. Once cured, it forms a permanently elastic bond.

Parabond 600 as an Economical Complement for PVC Panel Installation

For installing our large-format PVC wall panels, AT-Obklad recommends Parabond 900 Rapid Power as the standalone mounting adhesive.

For larger projects, however, combining both products may provide a more cost-effective alternative.

If two adhesive cartridges are specified for one panel, AT-Obklad recommends:

• 1 × Parabond 900 Rapid Power – 290 ml

• 1 × Parabond 600 – 290 ml

This option may help reduce overall adhesive costs when installing a larger number of panels.

Important: We do not recommend using Parabond 600 alone for our large-format PVC panels. Combining the two products is an AT-Obklad installation recommendation, not a general requirement from DL Chemicals.

Before installation, compatibility of both adhesives with the specific panel and substrate must be verified. Do not mix the adhesives together in one container without the manufacturer's express approval.

How to Use Parabond 600 Correctly

The substrate must be stable, clean and free from dust, grease and loose material.

Apply the adhesive according to the manufacturer's technical data sheet and the recommended installation procedure for the specific material.

When installing larger or heavier components, provide temporary mechanical support if necessary until sufficient bond strength has developed.

The initial tack value of 250 kg/m² is a manufacturer-declared technical characteristic and does not automatically represent the permissible load capacity of a specific installation.

For standalone installation of our large-format PVC panels, we recommend Parabond 900 Rapid Power.

Why combine Parabond 600 with Parabond 900 Rapid Power?

For larger installations, combining the two adhesives may be more economical than using two cartridges of Parabond 900 for every panel.

If two cartridges are specified per panel, AT-Obklad recommends one cartridge of Parabond 600 and one cartridge of Parabond 900 Rapid Power. Compatibility and suitability of the installation method must be verified before use.

Is Parabond 600 suitable for exterior applications?

Yes, for suitable applications in accordance with the manufacturer's technical requirements. Always consider the material, substrate and environmental conditions.

Can Parabond 600 be applied to a slightly damp substrate?

According to the manufacturer, it can be applied to suitable dry and slightly damp substrates. The surface must be stable, clean and properly prepared.
