Parabond 900 Rapid Power – Fast-Curing High Tack Mounting Adhesive

Parabond 900 Rapid Power by DL Chemicals is a professional hybrid polymer mounting adhesive combining extremely high initial tack with rapid strength development and a permanently elastic bond.

According to the manufacturer, it offers initial tack of at least 500 kg/m² and develops handling strength in approximately 20 minutes under specified conditions.

It is designed for bonding suitable construction materials and mounting components in interior and exterior applications.

Recommended Adhesive Options for Large-Format PVC Panels

When installing our large-format PVC wall panels, there are two options depending on the installation conditions:

1. Installation Using Parabond 900 Rapid Power Only

Parabond 900 Rapid Power can be used on its own. If two cartridges are required for one panel, you can use 2 × Parabond 900 Rapid Power.

2. More Economical AT-Obklad Installation Combination

For larger projects, we recommend a more cost-effective alternative:

• 1 × Parabond 900 Rapid Power – 290 ml

• 1 × Parabond 600 – 290 ml

This combination may help reduce adhesive costs when installing multiple panels.

This is an AT-Obklad recommendation for our panels. Before installation, verify adhesive compatibility with the specific panel and substrate, follow the manufacturer's technical instructions and use the appropriate installation method. Do not mix the adhesives together in one container.

When installing PVC panels in bathrooms, joints, corners and panel edges must be sealed separately with suitable materials. The adhesive does not replace waterproofing.

For larger installation projects, we recommend a more economical alternative: 1 × Parabond 900 + 1 × Parabond 600 per panel. This is an AT-Obklad recommendation, and suitability for the specific application must be verified beforehand.

Is Parabond 900 completely cured after 20 minutes?

No. Approximately 20 minutes refers to handling strength under specified conditions, not complete curing. Full curing takes longer and depends on application conditions.

Can Parabond 900 Rapid Power be applied to slightly damp substrates?
